Pastor Ben Schoettle

was saved at an early age after his Sunday School teacher described the eternal consequences of sin. At age 30, while working as an actuarial consultant, he was called to preach and began preparation immediately through educational and practical training while serving in his home church in Holland, Michigan. In 2015, he was called to pastor a church in Indiana, where he served for 8 years. In June of 2024, he was called to become Pastor of Capital City Baptist Church where he currently serves. He and his wife Sarah have ten children, who are active in serving Christ. Pastor Schoettle also serves on the staff of Indiana Baptist College.
